While a pink grapefruit mimosa might not be your standard fare at your weekend brunch, it’s a crisp and refreshing way to mix things up for your weekend meals.

Tips & Trips for making the best pink grapefruit mimosa

The ingredient list for this one is pretty simple:

  • Pink grapefruit soda
  • Champagne
  • Grenadine (not pictured, optional)

The grenadine in this recipe is completely optional and I only recommend using to boost the sweetness of the mimosa. Some grapefruit sodas – such as Italian style ones – are much more tart than others. So, if you select something that isn’t sweet, and that’s your preference, try the grenadine.

Pour 4 ounces of grapefruit soda into glass, then add 4 ounces of chilled champagne to glass of grapefruit soda. The bubbles from the champagne will agitate the drink enough to “stir” or blend it together so you won’t need to.

If you need ice with your drink, feel free to add, but I find it waters down my drink so I prefer it without.
